A concept I've had in mind since ages ago. A take on the Ariel on a rock animation in The Little Mermaid movie and an important message for this Earth Day about the price nature has to pay for humanity.

Originally, Ariel was to be sitting on the rocks disheveled, her hair in locks of oil and fishing wires, but while creating this piece i deviated toward showing the contrast of both world in current times. Added here are the rough draft and initial concept.
